2017 Volkswagen Touareg New Trim Features

The much-anticipated 2017 Volkswagen Touareg has arrived, and we’ve got it right here at Timmons VW of Long Beach. As the flagship Volkswagen SUV, the 2017 VW Touareg received slight interior and exterior redesigns and upgrades to continue the lineup’s tradition of being utility made luxurious. It’s also received a bevy of advanced new technology and safety features while continuing to offer the same power and fuel efficiency Volkswagen models have come to be known for. But perhaps most exciting is the fact that there are three new trims for the new Touareg. So, let’s check out the 2017 Volkswagen Touareg’s new trim features.

2017 Volkswagen Touareg Wolfsburg Edition Features

The new 2017 Touareg Wolfsburg Edition features a number of design enhancements including brushed aluminum décor, stainless steel door sills and pedals, black headliner, two-tone Vienna leather seating surfaces, heated and ventilated front seats, gray door inserts, a Wolfsburg badge and contrast stitching on the floor mats, steering wheel and shifter. An all-black interior is also available. Additional exterior features include 20-inch Tarragona wheels with a diamond-turned finish or the optional blacked-out 20-inch Mallory wheels.

2017 VW Touareg Sport with Technology and Executive Trim Features

The 2017 Touareg Sport with Technology trim is where most of the new features are found, as a comprehensive suite of new driver assistance systems and safety features now come standard. These features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, lane change assist, a park distance control system and a heated steering wheel. The 2017 VW Touareg Executive model also received an upgrade, with 21-inch aluminum-alloy wheels now coming standard. An auto hold safety system, which is an extension of the electronic parking brake, also now comes standard on all 2017 Touareg trims.
